Just finished filling all my planters and hanging baskets. Looking good even if I say so myself. Just need some sunshine now!

Have I just been unlucky, or is 'peat free' compost really crap now?

The last couple of bags I've used have been just useless - won't hold water at all & full of claggy lumps.

Dave...I bought four bags and it was awful...the water sat on the top and it took ages to filter down...and like you say...claggy lumps. I don't want to use peat so I guess I'll have to keep trying different ones unless anyone can recommend a good peat free one.
