>>>  Donald Trump is reacting to the judge's ruling with a flurry of posts on his Truth Social platform.

"This 'decision' is a Complete and Total SHAM. There were No Victims, No Damages, No Complaints," he writes. "ELECTION INTERFERENCE. WITCH HUNT."

He rails against Justice Engoron as "partisan, deluded, biased" and "Crooked".

He also slams prosecutor Letitia James, the New York attorney general, as "totally Corrupt" and "Racist". <<<

If true, it seems he borrowed money cheaper than he need have done, then turned it into a large financial success.

That sound pretty smart to me;  but what do I know, I'm only a dauber?

Has it crossed the minds of any of Trump's apologists that he might, actually, be crooked? 🙄

They're both politicians, so of course they're crooked, but one seems to be considerably more crooked that the other.

Untitled, //you do understand why fraud is wrong don't you?//

So they say, but if I wanted to borrow money on the value of my house it is not I who would make the value judgement but a valuer & it would be up to the bank from whom I borrow to make a check.

I don't know the details of Trump's case, but who has been harmed?

Biden and 'harm' are nothing to do with it.

do you understand why it is illegal to lie about the size of your assets in order to secure bigger loans? if it were anyone other than trump would you make excuses?

bigger should have been "better" sorry

When someone claims something is a witch hunt, my first thought is always "Witches were innocent ... so was this person?" If he's guilty then it's not a witch hunt, and he is guilty ...

Declairing it a 'witch hunt' not necessarily a great strategy for a witch. Nor is crying 'election interference' by the instigator of perhaps the greatest instance of election interference in US history.

"One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back"
