What are you all having or had? For starters I've done chanterelle risotto with mascarpone and asiago cheese. Main course is soya lacquered duck breast with butternut hash and fig balsamic sauce. I'm finishing off with classic profiteroles drizzled with ginger and crushed hazelnuts.

The wine choice is Masi Campofiorin, a fruity Italian number to complement the first two courses. Will be dining at 7, hope you all enjoy whatever you're having today.

Actually, I have changed my mind. We are now having burger and chips.
Good grief Jude, that sounds a fancy tea!

I don't even know what half of your ingredients are, never mind what the end product is.

Fancy occasion?

We had half a brisket with roast potatoes, yorkshires, peas and sweetcorn.

Dunno, not my turn this week, roast somethingorother, pleastant smell just starting to waft out of the kitchen, but too early to tell what it is yet.
Well I skipped breakfast so had Cottage pie for dinner (lunch) topped with melted cheese and cooked tomato. So about an hour ago... keeping it simple had an omelette with cheese and ham filling.

B00, please don't insult my cooking by calling it tea!
Lacquered duck breast? Is that the same as 'glazed'? If not,it sounds painful ;-) Is there a recipe for the butternut hash? I like the sound of that.
Its marinated grilled salmon and creamed spinach here...maybe followed by fresh figs.
