If we get the new vaccine, will it be compulsory to have it? I've heard a lot of people say they don't want it and some are unsure. If we don't all have it, will this mean it will stay around for even longer?

I don't think anyone here wants to comment on the vaccine any more, Barsel!

I doubt it will be compulsory but I just hope that people will get vaccinated. We owe it to each other...and the kids....and the grandkids and the couple down the road that we don't really like... ;-)

Oh ok Gness, I didn't realise. I hope people have the vaccination too, but I've yet to hear anyone being enthusiastic about it. I thought about you earlier. Looking at reed diffusers and one was called Bliss. :-) x
unlikely to be compulsory but you might find shops or airlines reluctant to let you in if you don't have some sort of vaccination certificate.
Imagine a big army truck pulls up, a crowd of hairy ***
squaddies tumble out, armed with giant hypodermic needles, chasing down the populace and jabbing them in the bum!
We.....ell, could be :-)
I get sent a lot of invites to do you gov surveys and they always start with stuff about a vaccine and ask if they should be compulsory & if people should be fined.
Oh we've been having some arguments about Covid and the vaccine on here tonight, Barsel. I think folk were wary of me coming in and going on about it again! :-)

I only know of five people who are daft enough to be refusing it. There may be slight risks for some but we have to do it. It's no good spouting it's against my freedom and my rights when we have had no freedom for nearly a year.

Bliss is still my favourite word though I don't do bliss threads any more. Thanks to Tilly we have a lovely sign on our wall with the Irish word for bliss.

Hope all's well with you...x
nope
oh - - - and yes ( it will take longer to go)
i know some who are wary of it,
// I think folk were wary of me coming in and going on about it again! :-)//

no I never tire of fighting ignorance with data and fact

so the question is - - - can I wait for other people to have the vaccine which we now know works
whilst I stand back and any safety concern involves those vaccinated and not me ! yippee !
risk free!
and that lets me free to get the disease
infect the old people in my family and kill them

yup
completely - free to kill the other members of your family
and no one will say diddly squat

tired of saying this - nope
// i know some who are wary of it//

saying they are wary
and refusing it when it knocks on the door
are different - altho may be connected
They wont be compulsory this ain't the Soviet Union. However It could well become necessary to prove vaccination on public transport in shops etc.
I would have it today if I could.
It had better not be compulsory, there are some people who never have vaccines for various reasons and that is their right. I'm on the cusp at the minute, but probably will have it.

How would anyone prove they had been vaccinated? Or is that why we will be implanted with microchips at the same time ;-).

i was wondering the same, how can one prove that one has had it
you'll get a scannable certificate.
We'll have to wear a badge!!
// I'm on the cusp at the minute, but probably will have it.//
so what
so long as others have it ( 60%) you will be OK

I am interested in seeing how soon the cases start decreasing as a result of vacc - it SHOULD be almost immediately ( turning point not down to nil)
TTT and what if that can be forged
