Last night me and my mates went out on the town... well me and my friend and her sister in law.
We were drinking wine at my friends first and started chatting about how none of us had ever been in a real fight. We said we had had rows before but never proper fights.

Then we went to town and enjoyed a great night out.

Then afterwards we went to Subway to get some food and as we walked in, some ginger girl was shouting at some guy... he stood there pretty placid and she was drunk and falling about and shouting at him.. she wasn't with him though. So I leant in and said to him 'What's happening?' and he said 'I called her a Ginger minger'. So I laughed and walked off.
I didn't laugh because he called her ginger.. just because she was going mental at the comment.

So I queued (sp?) for my food and was chatting to my friends and this girl was still going on and on and everyone was getting annoyed at how loud she was... So I screamed at her to shut up.. and she looked at me and just mouthed off some cr@p, so I said 'Love, you're a little bit f*cking loud'... Then she told me to shut up and she went outside... Now this p*ssed me off... So I got my food and went outside but my friends were still in the queue... I started chatting to the guy again and he told me how she came in mouthing off at him and he called her a ginger minger. I high fived him at this point and the ginger girl saw and started having a go at me and I was having a go at her and then we were kind of trying to get at eachother but her friend stepped in and was trying to chat to me..

So it started to stop and all of a sudden the ginger girls hand came out of nowhere and grabbed my hair so I reached out and grabbed her hair and then all we were doing was pulling eachothers hair and all we could see was the floor.. so I started kicking out at her and then her friend was trying to pull me off and then somehow it all got broken up and my mates were holding me back and this other girl was holding the ginger girl back and we got pulled away in different directions and it was over!!!

It was the most pathetic fight ever! She grabbed my hair! That's so girly.. I wish she had tried to punch me and then I could have punched her back... But hair pulling... once you are in a hair pulling situation, there isn't really a way out.. Lol.

But.. the most dissapointing thing of the night........ In the kerfuffle.. I lost my umbrella!
So all the way home.. we were singing 'I lost my Umb-a-rella, ay ay ay, my umb-a-rella ay ay ay'

Now I'm just gutted coz after saying we had never ever had a fight, I was hoping I'd be one of those people who gets to about 80 and can say 'I've never had a fight in my life'.. she ruined my plans! Lol. But.. I don't think this really counts as a fight.. more of a hair pull!

And to turn this into a question so it doesn't get removed.. Have you ever had a fight?
No.... never had a fight ever. I'm not surprised you are embarrassed, it all sounds very prisoner cell block H!
I hope you didn't get any hair on your submarine sandwich.
Question Author
Nope... I made the guy hold it for me when me and the girl were rowing... Lol... mid row I turned round and said 'Hold my sub for me'.. Shame I didn't give him my umb-a-rella too.. coz I lost that! :o(
I am actually embarrassed though.. I am 23 this month.. I shouldn't be fighting!
Hi Rubyrose , no I have never had a fight but what a good read that was , I started to read and then decided to get a packet of crisps and a cup of tea and settle to concentrate. You are lucky it was only hair pulling , she sounds crazy.:-)
Best stay out of other people's fights. Whatever was going on between the guy and the red haired girl was no concern of yours.
No. Sometimes I've seen the guys go a bit alpha male when I'm out but I generally walk away. I hate the sight of people fighting cause they've had too much drink and now are walking around giving it the biggun. There's a lot of things in this world worth fighting for; proving you're king of the swingers ain't one of them.

Sounds a bit like you were the instigator in that one as well as it being a hair tugging affair Ruby so no wonder you're feeling a bit embarrassed. Maybe one of those carma things cause you were talking about it earlier or something. Anyway, I'm sure you won't do it again!
Ok, maam, just for the record you say that whilst waiting for a submarine in the dark your brolly disappeared, and you vaguely recall a hairy-ginger, also there was a man standing next to you with something in his hand............are those the facts?................right then, sign here and let's go have a nice little chat with the desk sergeant shall we?

I have spoken to my mate and apparently the ginger girl walked away crying! She pulled my hair first... what was she crying about? She was mental though.. If 3Rainbows had been there then I reckon it would have turned into a big brawl...
No wonder she went for you. You should mind your own business in future.
Outside of the Army and the rugby field, I have never had a fight in my life. A few verbal altercations but nothing physical.

I will leave that to the welsh and scotch, who for some reason love a good old fashioned punch up. Personally, I would prefer to play a game of scrabble.
Question Author
How did I instigate it? I didn't get involved in the row she was having with the guy... The guy wasn't even rowing with her and he was just waiting for mates and standing outside and he didn't look like a hooligan or anything... and she was shouting at him and being abusive but he was outside and she was shouting in the subway so I told her to shut up. I just said what everyone was wanting to say!
Oh well... I just miss my umb-a-rella... ay ay ay
Question Author
Actually Wardy... I think she was Scottish... her mate was..
Well, lookee here, Champagne; that nice, sweet, gentle Rubyrose gave me stars. Thank you, miss. We'll pull all the blokes off Glasgow and London and start hunting for that red-headed pugnacious miscreant forthwith!
They are a violent people rubes. Simple fact of life.
Question Author
Thanks Stewey.. let me know when you find her... I wouldn't mind getting a few jabs in before she gets carted off...

So I've heard Wardy... so I've heard!
Think I need help after reading this

"Help is on the way dear, help is on the way"... Lol.. said in my Mrs Doubtfire voice.
I have had one fight in my lifetime ! That was about 12 years ago now! Im not proud of the fact but at the time, i think it was justified!

I am known by my friends for being very placid but this one night I was pushed too far.

There were 2 of them, sisters, and they used to come into our local now and then, rough as arsoles , so much so, one went by the name of the Rotweiller. Anyway, they started on my best mate for no reason other than they had massive attitude problems. My friend could always handle herself and she was the one the blokes were keeping their eye on, knowing she would go for it when I just flipped and no one could believe it! lol
Well, i guess i can take all the crap aimed at me and walk away but when it comes to my mate, i wasnt going to stand and watch!

I remember my Mum being so ashamed of me RR!!!! LOL
I got pulled off the sister and taken home, still furious!

I prefer to walk away, people like that are never worth the time trouble and effort!

Now I understand the "unruly" part...! Remind me never to mess with rubyrose OR Julie. *gulp*
