I can't bend far enough to cut them, so I usually go for a pedi which is fine in the summer when wearing sandles I like to have them painted but this is very expensive, so in the winter I just need them cut, not worried about the varnish, is there anywhere that would just cut them apart from a nail bar.

Do nail bars do feet - I've often thought about trying one but don't have the courage ( I have the bending problem, increasingly).

Do you have a beauty college near you - they are always looking for 'models' to practice on.

Have you spoken to your GP to see if you can get a podiatrist (or whatever they are called) appointment

I don't know how old you are but in my area AgeUK offer a service where you can get toe nails done.

Small cost.  Bring your own clippers and file or buy a set for £15.

Takes place in various venues on the county.

Local Podiatry Clinic?

you can buy long handled scissors etc from amazon £12

You can get people to come to your home to cut your toenails. I don't know how much it costs though.  Google  your local area.

i pay £30 every 6 weeks for a home visit  x

I must say that that is the only advantage of my hypermobily, I can still put my palms down to floor keeping my  legs straight but I've no strength to cut toenails and it's likely that my hips  will pop out of joint.  So hubby cuts my toenails!!

I've just had mine done today! A lady comes to the flats where I live every 6 weeks. Cost £15 and worth every penny, Whereabouts are you?

Diabetic clinics often have podiatrists for nail cutting. Ask reception at your GP

As stated on here before, I have a very dishy Podiatrist come to do my feet for a cost of £35 but we pay London prices where I live.  He travels and doesn't have a base so google for Travelling Podiatrists in your area.  Could go to a clinic for £15 but prefer what I've already got.

OH gets an appointment at the local podiatry NHS clinic every 6 weeks - his toenails are pretty clawlike and one or 2 present them with a challenge.  The GP referred him in the first instance about 6 years ago after I came home to a bloodbath when he'd missed the nail, but scissored open his big toe!

they tried to get me in to the diabetic clinic for months but it was always booked up so i decided to get a mobile podiatrist x

You could Google local companies and people who do what you want, and book one.

Every 6 weeks??!!! Luckily I can still reach...but I'd need my toesies trimmed more often than that. They grow fast! Wish my finger nails grew as quickly.

We go to the local podiatrist - costs £35 and includes dry skin removal, foot check, cream, and a chat and a gossip.

I often wonder what on earth would possess someone to want to do this for a living - cutting peoples toe nails!! Lol.
