I had my second Covid-19 vaccine today. I had to travel 55 miles for it but feel happy to be more protected now. I wonder how many people have not bothered to have a second vaccine ?.

Apparently there are quite a lot who don't bother to turn up for the second jab - difficult to understand their logic. Just a dose of good old complacency I presume.

I had to book online, and both together at a choice of places. Canary, I didn't have the second due to allergy- and basically, nobody knows. The same problem for one of my friends.
Had my second one today, also, but just a 25 minute walk into town and a near 35 minute walk back - mainly all uphill coming back. Now i am totally invincible; punches will hardly make me flinch, bullets will bounce off me and fall harmlessly to the floor, which a direct nuclear hit will merely ruffle my hair.
'while a direct nuclear hit' not 'which'. Can't even blame predictive text :-(
I'm dreading my second. The first one made me feel awful.
Ummm I had AZ. Was shivering and flat on my back after the first one, not so much as a sore arm with the second. I was expecting a reaction as I get them to varying degrees from the flu jab.
Which did you get, ummmm? All our clients who had AZ, had a lot less reaction to the 2nd.
I walked 30 metres across the road for my 2nd vaccine.
They wanted me to wear a short sleeved shirt, but it was pissing it down so I put my coat on.
I was shivering really badly with a banging headache and aches and pains all over. My OH didn't have any symptoms.
Pixie - can't really understand his hand writing. Ast?zmec?
First AZ jab poleaxed me.
Had my second jab yesterday, and I didn’t die, but have been feeling crap all day - bad headache, dry cough, achy limbs and tired.
Astra Zeneca. It may not put your mind at rest much, but many people are not reacting anywhere near so much to the 2nd dose.
Your symptoms should be a lot less if at all this time Ummmm.
Basically the reaction is your immune system fighting off what it thinks is an attack. It is actually a good indication if you feel rough, it is your body going into full attack mode to see off the germs.
From my experience I had a reaction to both jabs.
Not really, sunk. You don't need to feel rough to show your immune system is working. It's an unfortunate side effect.
The side effects of the second are about 50% less than the first. I had about 12 hours of feeling rough the day after, then a slightly sore arm. I had AZ.
Glad to said that Pixie @ 23.35 as I didn't get a reaction to either of my jabs;-))
