Shopping today in Tescos I bought a 1kg bag of frozen broccoli and cauliflower florets. It cost £1.50.
It seems no time ago the same product was £1

Probably, in that the suppliers will grab the opportunity to blame BREXIT, even though its not happened yet. Let's blame BREXIT for everything. I can remember when all the prices went up apparently due to decimalisation.
Go to Lidl, Aldi, Farmfood or Iceland and you will get the same product for a fraction of the price of Tesco.
Our local paper delights in giving us an up to date calculation of how much holiday money we get now as opposed to 2016
With the falling £ it now costs a fortune to import the ice for freezing.

Your choice, buy or don't buy.
Forget Tesco and other supermarkets. Be strong, resolute, patriotic and 'Dig for Victory'
Do what I do, stick a bag down your kecks and don't crack on!
It was in the papers last week. Tesco have increased the prices on everything by 10-15% at least. Some instances were quoted at a 100% increase.
Has retrocop nothing better to do?????? I agree use a different supermarket.
I have plenty of better things to do. That does not include blaming Brexit for every perceived woe that I encounter. Got a problem with that ?
Caran, can you provide a link to that?
No, sorry ummmm, it was in either the mail or the express sometime last week.
Thanks, Albs, I did mention last week that it isn't just Tesco.

Whilst most ABers have enjoyed your informative updates on your pilgrimage in the mountains of Spain it is with great chagrin that our Tesco red plonk has increased whilst you slurp free red plonk in some Franciscan hidey hole. I am afraid whilst you have obtained much spiritual solace in your travels we,in the real world, have endured considerable price hikes.Welcome home. :-)
Tesco Broccoli & Cauliflower Floret Mix 900G (11 servings app)
are currently £1.30 here.

Fortunately my wine has not increased in price.

Weather and crop yields affect the prices of veg throughout the year and will depend on country of origin too.
I buy Asda's own cooked chicken chunks which have always cost £1.99 (they are for my dog), they have now suddenly gone up to £2.30 a packet. Everything seems to be going up these days.

marjopry - why the strange comment about retro having 'nothing better to do' ? Don't get it ..
