Too lazy to go to a tip/
Question Author
I would like to 'tip' upside down , whoever did it and give him/her a good smacking on the rear side

Pervert ^^ ;o)
Rough sleeper?
There should be a blanket ban on such a thing.
Terrorists! A sure sign of a sleeper cell.
Or early signs of Spring.
Aye,they need kicking to the kerb!
Question Author
I would leave them attired whilst smacking them , Baldric
Bad problem,needs divan intervention.
We get a lot of dumped furniture where I live. People too lazy to take it to a tip or don't want to pay for a removal service.

There is even refuse bags left lying around with half the contents all over the pavement.

Begs the question whether we need cctv as a deterrent or would this infringe on privacy? Or maybe dummy cctv?
There should be a proper Town Hallmeeting to discuss it under 'Mattress Arising'.

The word on the street is that no one knows who did it

They must have done it while everyone slumbered
Well,I wouldn't take it lying down Bazile...
It's hell in Bedlam!
To be honest a lot (though not all) fly tipping is a direct result of local authority stupidity.

I live about half a mile from my nearest "recycling centre" (aka The Tip). But I cannot use it. Why? Because I live near the border of my local authority and The Tip lies across the border. Instead, I have to make a twelve mile round trip to my LA's facility. I'm lucky; I have a relative living in the adjacent LA who has provided me with a pass. All highly illegal, I know. But many in my neck of the woods are not so fortunate and have to travel twelve miles to dump unwanted items. And many (like the gentleman who deposited the bedframe in Bazile's road) don't.

In this case NJ , the nearest TIP for our council is less than a couple of miles away
probably these two ...

Our local recycling tip are not exactly helpful and most dis obliging also. Full of idle jobsworths who's eyeslight up if their is anything they can see would be useful or valuable to themselves.
I was helping my son remove a load of my late mother's old furniture from the flat he inherited to the local tip (1/2 mile away) We loaded up my lightweight Land Rover and Sankey trailer with quite large items (3 piece suite and tables) and I drove round to the tip and joined the queue. When we arrived at the check point I was told. No commercial vehicles. I explained it was a private ex military vehicle used for SDP and I was a resident in the Borough and produced a utility bill.
Sorry mate no trailers!!!
Ok I will park up outside and carry the furnitute to the relevant skips.
Sorry mate no pedestrians allowed. Only vehicles.
We ended up parking the trailer outside and reloading from the Land Rover and rejoining the queue each time.
It tooks us about 40 minutes longer plus a hernia than if he had let us in. I bet if we had a stack of lead in tractor and trailer we would of been admitted quicker than Leroy on a rocket.
About three miles away there are small country lanes surrounded by farm land. Totally littered with similar items that we persevered to dispose of legally with little help from the operators of the dump. Small wonder.
Flytipping is rife round here, as well. You can't use the tip with a van, only a car, so people just dump their dross where no one will see them doing it.
