There may be a lot of panic due to the weather forecast for Frid, I'll leave with a tip If I may,

We all need work, some work for their family.

A car is metal, you can not compaire it to your family.

Time is a thing we all have plenty of,

But some do not have, Friday you'll see,

Take your time if working tomorrow,

I'd hate to hear, that your family has sorry.

Work will be there, even if you are slow,

Remember you people, you will not beat snow.

lol lol
What's the tip?
Whatever the weather we all go 2 work
Not something we can really shirk
And yes go a bit slower in the car
Reduce the risks as we travel far
Whatever we think don't drink and drive
And be thankful that you're still alive xxxx
Snowing lightly in Manchester, just been digging out some more suitable boots for tomorrow - two buses to work could be interesting if it gets heavier overnight!
Whether the weather be fine, whether the weather be not;
Whether the weather be cold, whether the weather be hot;
We'll weather the weather, whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not.
Country dweller's saying
We've been told if it's less than 3 miles we have to walk to work if necessary. Outrageous, what is it, 1950?
hey prudie id be ok ive got a 30 mile drive to work lol if i started walking now id get there by spring !!!
Don't want to sound smug but this is one of the little perks of retirement - get out of bed, open curtains, pull a face at the snow, get back into bed, pull up duvet and snuggle down again zzzzzzzzzzzz ...................
Sorry you workers - your time will come! :)
Forgot to say - keep safe everyone!
I'm extremely pleased to say that I've got the day off tomorrow - the snow is due to hit here around 11am. :-)
Where is that Boxy?
Dover, ann.
Thankfully, my commute from my bedroom to my study will not in any way be affected by the inclement weather.
It says 11am on some sites right over in Leicestershire, I suppose we will have to wait and see ......... been snowing here this aft.
I've ironed uniform and normal clothes and made packed lunches to hedge my bets. We are forecast a fair bit of snow but as we are just the other side of the Brecon Beacons (who have a red weather warning) I suppose it could be quite nasty.
What - no ice grips on your slippers BM? ;)
Yes Sherrard but are they EVER right?
I shall be getting up at 6.45 am, sending oh and son off to work/school and then going straight back to bed till lunchtime. :)

Stay safe everyone.
Ann, there's been terrible panic buying in the valleys, people queuing for an hour in Asda to pay for their stuff!
