Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Glad you are better Lottie.
Good morning Everybiddy... It was absolutely poring with rain when I walked to the paper shop had to take my brolly but now the sun is shining and lovely.
Good to hear you are feeling better Lottie.
What a great hat . I wish I could wear them. The latest I've bought is a woolly Rams one. It's black and you can hardly see the DCFC on it. What does that say about me?!! But i have to keep my ears warm on match days.

I hope you all had a good night last night and you have a good Sunday.
I'm nipping to Sainsburys now to get a few things I need as I haven't been for a week.
See yer later 'gater(s)
Morning all...zzzzzzzzzz....what a lousy night, I could probably have reached Texas by holding on to a brolly. The howling wind kept me awake, bins were banging over, tins rolling down the road...got up with a headache & a bad back but apart from that everything's bloody marvellous :o)

Ne'er mind Jude, there's always next week. Oooh Merlin was good, especially when Lancelot appeared topless in the lake, phew!

EE has been a bit harrowing neti, I don't like Jo Joyner/Tania but she's played it brilliantly recently. I'm not sure if Max will last the course though...when the going gets tough...

I went on a nostalgia trip yesterday too (on google streetmap, haha) down the little street where my aunt & uncle lived & I used to stay sometimes. Terraced houses on a fairly steep hill... memories of the milk cart pulled by a horse...throwing the ball down the hill for my cousin's dog who'd run halfway down, screech to a halt & stand and watch it disappear so we had to fetch it ourselves....going fishing with a net on a stick and a bag of corned beef sarnies...eebygum :o)

Going to have a lolling day I hope...it'll be an easy dinner and no kidney beans will be included. Yuk, I wouldn't touch them, there's enough food in't world without eating risky stuff.
a kidney bean factory?

And they say manufacturing industry is dying out.
Have just had a call from a mate of ours who is coming down from the north for DH's memorial service. Its been arranged by a good friend of ours who is in the same industry. I am not going because I don't do public grief. Anyway we have arranged that we will meet for lunch after the service. he is a lovely chatty bloke and great company. Another lazy day here after a noisy night and busy yesterday. Was going shopping but can't be bothered. Dogs are asleep even though the garden door is open and they could chase squirrels.
Looked out of the window and deep joy, all the remaining leaves had disappeared... they must be on their way to Ibiza & beyond I thought. Went to feed the birds and there they all are, right outside my own back door...tut.
I've got a Fossil ad stalking me...
I get banks and investments :-(
all my leaves hide under the car. It's neater that way. Of course once there are enough of them to lift the car off the ground, starting can be a problem.
Been out for a lovely lunch (the waiters were absoloutely useless!) complete mess but the food was fine!

Am feeling quite chilly, am back tucked up in bed with ashawl round my shoulders, a la old woman!!

Mr N has mended everything in sight, he's very good when he puts his mind to it, but hija's computer seems to be kaput, he got the leccy going in but it won't start!! I just cannot afford a new one for her.

She'll be using this one later so I will bid you adios until I get it back!

Hi folks
Bright breezy day here but a bit chilly with the wind ..dark now though .
Nothing doing here really .Usual lazy Sunday .
Hope you are all OK .
I'd better go and rattle some pans .
See you later .
Been outside gardening and enjoying it. Tum still not right. I start to eat and then feel sick. Still I could do with losing some weight. Off to iron a few shirts.
Quite a few daffs poking their heads through!!
Hello all, had a bitty day today, a few jobs, some tv, finally sorted out my underwear drawer and tossed the knix with failed elastic and socks with holes in and those grey bras.
Dogs have wanted loads of cuddles, just happy cuddles not worried.
Had pizza for lunch so I may just have a bagel and a glass of wine for tea.
friends coming for dinner so I have wine ready for mullllllling
I love mulled wine but down here its not cold enough yet.
Been quite warm and sunny today, despite a strongish breeze. Not like November at all. Going to have a jacket potato shortly with some Tuna.
I have drunk nearly a litre of sugar free coke. I never drink coke, but suddenly yesterday that is all I fancied. I shall be on a high!!!!
lol see you at midnight when you can't sleep Lottie
I am so thirsty Woof - something to do with my poorly tum I suppose. Coke and crisps, toast and marmite is all I really fancy, but am making myself eat more sensible things!!
It's actually what a gp would suggest for a child recovering from d and v except they would say a sugared fizzy drink not a sugar free.
