Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

I slept for horus and hours and now I have woken up the sun is shining.

So I don't know if something is wrong with me ore with the weather.

Glad to hear people are feeling a bit better this morning. Woofy, you are soldiering on very gallantly, but your mind must have a great deal it needs to work through. Even my own, which is comparatively empty, often refuses to shut down. I just get up and read or watch DVDs until it decides it's had enough.
I know my mind has a lot to work through, just wish it wouldn't do it when the rest of me needs some kip lol!!
minds to tend to do that when the body's at rest, though. Sooner or later even minds need to sleep, so I mostly cater for it by not scheduling any appointments for the morning, so I can sleep as late as I like.

But it usually starts clanking away about 7am anyway.
Afternoon all, Oh woofy, you are so strong, of course your mind is restless at times. Just rest when you can. AS Mr N says if I have nothing to worry about then I'm not happy!!! just been English food shopping, pork pies, mince pies a huge bag of sausages, pickled onions, ooh yummy.
G'day blue rinse brigade...had a peak in earlier but I had 'stuff to do', not many daylight hours at the moment & my body shuts down when it's dark.

oh, poor you jude, you must feel a real mizmog, the last think you need when you've got a cough is trouble at t'other end. Hope you feel better soon, don't go standing around cold footy pitches.

Sounds like a good day you both had shaney...I read it as 'bought some Pj's and ice cream', hahaha...I was trying to make a connection.

Sorry you had a bad night woofy. I did sleep well last night for a change but as soon as my eyes open the day falls on me like that piano, haha, and I'm off and worryin'. Tell Shughy not to recycle anymore placcy bags, yuk! Glad he's ok though, they're a worry when they're chewers.

yay! at last swettibettibiza has an address, we know where to find her now...we'll have to pay her a surprise visit...

Well Robi nearly right, I doubt things will improve now though cos the bank and the PO disagree about my postcode!

Have lightened the hair so will let you know what colour I am when it dries.
.
well neti I hope you won't clash with dame jno everage
I'm just getting over the "jno" stage, at least I am light blonde again and not blue, grey, or silver .
grrrrrrr...bloomin' google....I GIVE THE ORDERS, JUST SEARCH WHAT I ASKED, DON'T DECIDE FOR ME!

sorry, just having a micro rant....
Hi.

Computer back, but I am suffering. I think I have had a dose of food poisoning or something. Felt really well after my lovely day out - went to bed and woke up after about an hour with a really high temperature and hurting all over. Then proceeded to vomit all night. Feeling wobbly now and am not lingering, but will be back tomorrow.
--- waves to Lottie --- Hello, you poor thing, glad you had a good day out, lucky things. I Hope you feel better soon.x
Just spoke to older sister, she's had another CT scan and the tunour in her neck hasn't got any bigger , and although it won't get better, it' s a step in the right direction, she is so cheerful and upbeat.
Glad to hear it Neti. I got as far as mopping the wood floor in the living room today....got the mopping stuff out of the sink cupboard and it was all wet, the angle connector in the sink drain had worked loose and was dripping :-( Got it all tight and dry again but only got the wood cleaned, the carpet has been held over till tomorrow.
Just booked afternoon tea for my Sis' birthday here

Then I realised that i'd have to warn her to bring something smartish to wear as we mostly just slob around in casuals and she doesn't bring smart stuff with her.
Whisper it, she's 70 this year and we don't do nights out or clubbing so I thought posh afternoon tea would be a nice thing to do. Its about a 15 minute drive from home.
PS Lottie, take more water with it next time....seriously sorry to hear that you feel rough, get well soon.
Lottie good to see you back but not poorly. Get better soon.
What a lovely place Woofie. I don't think I have anything acceptable to go there. :¬) You have a lovely time together.
At last an address Neti. You sound really chuffed about that.
If we all came over en masse I doubt you'd be difficult to find. We have our postcards with the pin hole in and we'd look for a lady with multicoloured hair.

I going to watch the telly tonight starting at 8.00 with Mastermind.
So I'm going to say goodnight now. I'll probably be in bed my 9.00 to watch the rest.
Sleep tight All and thanks for bein there. See yer later 'gater(s)
Woofy, that Limehouse is lovely, would love to go there, still when you win the lottery we'l go for a week!

Nite nite jude, have a good rest. I am in bed watching my dvds of yesterday's tv progs. I think Eastenders is silly with Max's bro, can't stand him.
