oh ..... i'm in cambridgeshire (sorry)
Question Author
excelsior 1,i'll just take my coat back off.
Are there no volunteer drivers or community minibuses doing anything like that in your area,it might be worthwhile looking into it,as you seem very disappointed!
Oh slinky, I'm in Edinburgh today and not in Glasgow until later tonight or I would have offered to take you :(
Have you no friends nearby who could drop you off on their way out?
Question Author
everyone here works, son has my mobility car but he has an important appointment at lunch time, never mind,i can always go on ebay and buy myself something nice.
^^ Don't spend more than £16 on there Kate! Otherwise you could have gone swimming :-)

I onlylive a short distance from mytown pool, but usually rely on lifts to and fro as it's expensive to park the car or use the bus each way. Without a lift it costs me £7.65!! As I am trying to swim 3x or more a week, it soo adds up and is not viable - so I feel your pain!
Kate, your son is not allowed to use your mobility car unless he is running errands for you.
Question Author
he isnt using it,he has an appointment and cant get up for me
Ooops, sorry.
