gave up 4 yrs ago, after smoking for 15 yrs. Best thing I ever did. Waste of money, waste of life
I gave up in 94. If I were still smoking I'd be spending around 4000 per year.

House doesn't need cleaning or decorating so often, the car roof lining is not yellow, the asthma is much improved and I don't get jittery on long haul flights and can stay inside the cinema for the duration of the film.

Hurrah!
Nope, never even tried a ciggy, (minus a pathetic attempt when i was pi$$ed as a "wild youth" at a house party and put the cig in my mouth the wrong way...)
does smoking a cigar count
No i do not.
though if i wanted to i could get ciggys for 45p a packet.

not interested.

did this help ?

"Nice is as nice does .Nice begets nice. "
omg nat - was it lit?
Yeah it was, but no damage done! I noticed before i burnt a whole in my tongue/lip! Luckily my alcohol ridden body numbed any instant pain that it may have caused.
rule one of smoking... red end is hot, do not put in mouth :)
Don't know if I smoke.

I've never seen myself from behind.
I gave up 12 years ago, its a mugs game, its costly, smelly and detrimental to your health, the only people that disagree are the smokers in denial of the affects that their habit has on themselves and others.
lol Chuckfickens, hoping i wont need to remember your kind advice again!

Who's happy with the smoking bans in clubs then?

To be honest, not sure i prefer the smell of pi$$ to smoke, but i suppose pi$$ doesnt kill...
Yeah- I do.
I don't mind the ban in pubs so much now I don't work in one...

When I worked in one before the ban if I wanted a ciggie I could just stand at the entrance to the bar area and have one, if somebody needed serving just put it down and serve them. after the ban if I wanted a smoke I would have had to go outside to have one, and obviously you can't really leave a bar unattended for that long.

Now I no longer work behind a bar, yeah all for it, even as a smoker I used to think pubs got far too smoky sometimes
no i dont drink smoke life of a nun me lol
LOL @ Nat.

Yup, I'm a smoker and not in denial. I know it's bad for me and I know it stinks.

I used to find pubs got too smokey too, Chuck.
Same here sleepy1!!!!!!!!
