Morning have no idea why I was awake at 5am, still got a bit done now on my third mug of tea and writing a shopping list. Most of what I need will be delivered but there were a few things that were not available that I will have to go out for later.

On the plus side they finally took mum to hospital yesterday and hopefully they will keep her there until they can find a suitable residential setting for her.

Actually no !! I’ve tested positive for covid & tomorrow is my birthday and I’ve had to cancel all the celebrations bah & humbug :((

I've got the snotties again...4th cold in as many months. My daughter said she was also developing another. It's a pain in the bum.

I'm as well as can be expected and I don't expect anything good any more tbh.

Sorry for those that are under the weather.

Pasta, my son is also on his 4th cold in as many months. He blames it on having to mix with clients and colleagues who have children who bring bugs in from school. He works from home but always picks up a cold when he has to call into base!

What is sad is that he won't come and see us because of my compromised immune system.

Good morning MissT...I'm so sorry that the need to keep you safe requires that your son stay away.

My daughter WFH, but goes into the office one day a week....seems all who were there last week are now unwell.

I must pick it up on my shopping trips. Who knows what germs and bacteria are on our shopping items?

No, it's not the same MissT. I'm always counting the days until my daughter's next visit...every 3 months on average...but sometimes more.

Just come back from shops it's lovely morning but everything aches a bit so a lie down with tea and a book is in order. Short rest and I might start weeding my planters.
