One lives in hopes.
But they don't always do the right thing.
Wonder when we will get our delivery of generators in Northern Ireland?
Teresa and her behind the scenes team just cannot negotiate anything?

tony, that could turn out to be a blessing in disguise!
It's like a Dad's Army sequel, absolutely ridiculous.
Ah ! I knew that the Tory party had to be good for something.
Think it might be Tora but she will have to do a lot of party politics over Christmas and Gorbyn just sitting in background.
Its Mayhem.
// tony, that could turn out to be a blessing in disguise!//

yeah damned good disguise

it certainly isnt a blessing in full er bloom
Kva can you remember yes minister ?
On tv looks like it's being acted out for real lol.

2½ years so busy stabbing each other in the back instead of directing their energy into getting a really good deal , the Top Tories are a disunited bunch of inadequates.

They will be left with the possibly damaging "no-deal" since getting out was what the majority of the people voted for, and we've still got the replacement of the Leader to come before the next election.

Bogger the country's future then, much more Tory introspection to come, meanwhile Little Britain, neglected by the very people who should be running it, slowly sinks lower into the economic mire.
I have a theory that in a dark, smoke filled, backroom the DUP are being told exactly how little of the promised billions they will actually get if they don't fall in line & vote for Mrs May's deal.

Once they start to see reality biting they'll suddenly see which side their potato scones are buttered on and will reluctantly acquiesce - once that happens the Tory waverers will also lose the will to resist and will vote for the deal - add in the SNP and a few LabDums and the deal could yet get passed.

It's a crap deal, negotiated by incompetents and liked by pretty much no-one - but I have a hunch that enough MPs will see it as the 'least worst' option and it could yet limp through.

TBH canary the tories have been hopeless but that's because the remainers are doing the negotiating not because they are tories. MPs and the establishment are remainers trying to deny the public. Dave the DUP don't care about the money they are trying to avoid re uniting Ireland, all else is secondary.
I sincerley hope we are TTT.

I know many businesses have been preparing anyway - it's only the Government who dont probably becuase they dont want to undermine spreadsheet Phils project Frar.
But is it just game playing to force her deal through?

Everyone knows the majority ofPMs are cracking themselves over no deal and won’t allow it to go through if they haveanyth8ng to do with it.

Mind you with proper planning any negatives will be mitigated to a large degree so not as chaotic as Remainextremists want to make out.

I suspect, nearer the truth, is that they would prefer a fair, mutually beneficial deal; but the EU elite has no intention of agreeing one.

I suspect most felt they were likely to try to make things difficult, but fewer thought that folk in such high power positions would be so obstinate and uncaring of the interests of their remaining member states as they turned out to be.

So, being realistic, and seeing the issues with that which Mrs. May came back with, AB "Brexiteers" realise the only remaining option is to give up on the EU negotiations and leave without the deal that's not forthcoming.

It's not the end of the world, trade will still continue. And if the EU continue to be awkward, their influence will reduce over time and become even less relevant.
Well said OG
That's it then , it's all the fault of the EU . Lol .
Looking around, I see the brightest kids on the block (Easy jet, etc) have already made a plan B - and are probably working on a plan C. The business weaklings keep appearing on TV saying "we need to know what's going to happen" etc. and they will deservedly go under, and be taken over by braver entrepreneurs.
There are wonderful opportunities ahead for the best people.
