"Our AB brexiteers want " no deal" don't they ?" I suspect, nearer the truth, is that they would prefer a fair, mutually beneficial deal; but the EU elite has no intention of agreeing one. I suspect most felt they were likely to try to make things difficult, but fewer thought that folk in such high power positions would be so obstinate and uncaring of the...

'I'm a stayer'

'I'm in the enviable position of being able to live in Europe, the UK or the US'

Make yr mind up, kid.
I just want OUT !!
Blimey Zacs it's not hard, YMB suggested I didn't belong here, and Talbot said I had the option to live full time in the US. I am saying I will NOT abandon my country and will always ensure I can live here and vote here. Is THAT clear enough for folks? Crikey.
Kval. // Using the term " Little Britain charade" was a bit naughty and what raised a few hackles. Many of us take Brexit very seriously and the most important political choice of our times
Kvalidir, you were practically packing your bags after the referendum result was announced.
Khandro, that's precisely why I referred to it as that. It IS the most important decision politically for generations and it's being reduced to a farce by idiotic grandstanding and people who frankly have no practical negotiating skills whatsoever. If we leave with no deal because May and her bunch of idiots have compromised negotiations then we are not behaving in the best interests of the country and no amount of pseudo Make Britain Great Again' hammering on is going to make it otherwise.
Yeah but that was before I realised we aren't actually going to leave though Naomi lol ;-)
Indeed. To use the term "Little Britain charade" to describe the choice that 17m voters made and then to get the hump because people take issue with it shows quite a lack of understanding.

For my part I decided 26 years ago that, given the chance, I would vote to leave at the first (and every) opportunity. It wasn't a spur of the moment thing, it wasn't done without thought and it certainly wasn't done because I wanted "Little Britain" to prevail (though the term usually used to provide such a measure of insult is "Little England", I believe).
I take it you've never seen ' Little Britain' then NJ. 'Little Britain' and 'Little England' are two entirely separate things.
Is it really acceptable to suggest someone doesn't belong here because they used the phrase "Little Britain charade"?

Snowflakes, much?
I make allowances Krom ;-)
Kval; So may we take that you don't think Britain is "little" in a pejorative sense?
Britain is great Khandro, it's what some folks would like it to become that worries me x
Kval. Good, I'll sleep better tonight :0)
//Britain is great Khandro, it's what some folks would like it to become that worries me //

That worries me too.
yeah I am worried too....
Gawd - as some people say (alot) - count me in for that !
“I take it you've never seen ' Little Britain' then NJ. 'Little Britain' and 'Little England' are two entirely separate things.”

I’ve never seen “Little Britain” though I have heard of it and seen snippets. I cannot for the life of me imagine why you mentioned it on a thread about Brexit.
Kvalidir, //Yeah but that was before I realised we aren't actually going to leave though Naomi lol ;-) //

You didn't? Not that smart then. Err ... lol.

What is 'Little England'? That sounds derogatory. Is it?
// I’ve never seen “Little Britain” though I have heard of it and seen snippets //

I believe it is a popular television series of the comedic variety m'lud.
