Afternoon, animal lovers. I don't have any animals anymore but lov'em and often watch all sorts of animal clips on YouTube. This one featuring the chicken police really intrigued me - is there anyone among you that could come up with a theory as to why two fighting rabbits should annoy the roosters to such a degree??

The second video is just a bonus for you cat lovers, no question attached, although if any of you have your own little roomba driver at home, do tell!

Just did some upside down writing on FB and someone thought it was a computer virus <<plebs!>>
http://www.patient.co...n%27s-Contracture.htm

This is it, and it doesn't hurt at all and apparently won't, but I'm not telling Mr N that, he thinks I can't carry heavy shopping or do heavy work, am gonna enjoy this!!!! btw my hands are pretier than those ^^
Well...It's useless .Awful light that you cannot possibly see to read by . It's a bit like those new lightbulbs . Ages to warm up . Then it just fades away and you find yourself peering at whatever you are reading or scribbling on .Considering the price of them at nearly a hundred folding I'm afraid it's nothing for me. .You can't even set the light to stay on indefinitely . No good to nightime readers and scribblers like me You need complete dark in the room for the "sunshine effect" of a morning .
I'll stick with my reading lamp and cuppa from the old man of a morning .Picky has put it on Ebay for me :))
Neti I have something similar in my hands My little finger is extremely crooked and curls inwards and I have white lumps on my palms .My finger joints are all knobbly and very painful at times .It's not so posh as yours , ,just Heberden's nodes. Spud peeling is hard work as is chopping stuff .A swede is a real challenge :)
I have very little grip, can't unscrew things and have smashed and and dropped more stuff than I care to remember .When you get the yorkshires out of the oven and then drop them on the floor it's a bit of bugger :)
My child is upstairs plumbing in a toilet ....give me strength ..if I hear "put the kettle on " once more ..........and ...I cooked him a lamb hotpot .............. :)))
Well, it's the end of the world as we know it...Jude's depressed with footy! Is it ok to grumble about it then?

oh that's a shame shaney, we were looking forward to you being up bright 'n breezy at the crack of dawn with the toast & eggs waiting for us...back to Vinny's burnt offerings it is then.
My mum had very crooked little fingers & they told her she could have them done but there was no guarantee that they wouldn't go back again so she didn't bother. I'm slowly losing my grip, I think I need someone's neck to practice on.

Viking's Disease oh okay Neti I'll take the wrap... http://i46.tinypic.com/35mmplk.jpg ...he he... do you by any chance work for the Pakistan Daily? ...cos they've decided that the present weather is Norway's fault. I'm too tired to make sense of the article in question tonight but we Swedes have always liked to blame Norway for everything, so, come to think of it yes it probably is:) Seriously though I am sorry Neti. I'm glad it's painless, but still - not fun.

Aww come on Jude you get to post Shaun the Sheep, Vinny gets to post Mariachi Mick (!!!) Oddly relaxing... (once I stopped laughing!) The older I get the more I love the Mick. A couple of years ago I saw a documentary about the infamous Altamont concert; you could see how miserable he was on stage and how he didn't give up trying to solve the situation. I'm a sucker for accountability:)

Shaney were you supposed to be able to use it as a reading lamp?? My sis has a similar alarm but I don't think she reads by it. Or maybe she does, I'll have to ask.

Woofy your floor sounds so fabulous! Gray can represent such sophistication when the materials are right, and the setting... *drifts off into a gray daydream*

(...or is it a 'grey' one... sigh... yet another Americanism on my behalf...?)
Oh Jude ..I didn't see your post .I've been enjoying a really good little programme on at 6.30 BBC 2 .Great british railway journeys .Michael Portillo presents it and it's great .
He's been on train journeys oop north last week and this week he's on his way to Scotland .Lovely scenery and last night he went over the Ribble Valley viaduct in a steam train .I was amazed at some of the beautiful little railway stations and how well kept they are ..And each place he visits he gives a little potted history .Tonight he was on lake Windermere and had a go at making cumberland sausages He's using a 150 year old Bradshaws guide to guide him around so to speak .
Hairy Bikers ? They were good last night .
I've been watching more TV lately than I usually do as well .
Night all xx

never mind neti, I expect your ears are warm & dry in that position? :o)

morning all
Morning folks
Dull, dreary and cold here as per usual.Snow showers forecast .At least that biting wind has eased off .
oh dear, another two answers deleted. They must have been the ones on that nice 1960s thread a couple of days ago, which seems to have vanished, goodness knows why - probably to avoid making all those 40-year-olds out there envious.

...it needs repeating in a few more places

Well I just stood still outside for a whole five mins without flapping about like a demented penguin and it felt like a change is a comin'...
that's nice, Robi, how did you clip out just the one post like that?
Help please, Robi especially!!! Have got laptop back but it's got igoogle instead of google and I do not want it, how can I change it! collected lappy at 12.30 got it home, couldn't get into it, so trudged back now and was there an hour whilst they piddled about, said he'd get rid of igoogle he hasn't, Honestly today is a black dog day and I hardly ever get one, just want to sit and cry!
well, things are looking up, here I am on laptop and old google, let's see how things pan out!!!
jno it's the wonderful gizmo called Snipping Tool (!) that Sweedie told us about...maybe you were cruising at the time...I use it all the time. On my puta it's under All Programmes > accessories.

neti I think I might just snip you out of this thread, tut, I wonder if there's a pinking shears option?
Hey everyone, sorry that post written in squares, never seen it before, i think it was supposed to be upside down.
How strange, that upside down post is in squares on my laptop!
here's a little entertainment - sorry, Lottie, it hasn't got the period charm of your effort - the link should work ok
