Got some at Morrisons at twice the price. Going to attempt using both sides from now on, could get messy.

When I was at school Izal made an excellent substitute for tracing paper, which was expensive. Someone would ask to go to the toilet and come back with a wad of paper which he would hand out.

I might go back to torn up pieces of the radio times, remember those days well. Yesterdays progs tattooed on your backside.
pas de bog rolls
oo la la

I wd make a stink about that one - a big one !

am I allowed to wallow in lavatorial teenage humour on AB ?
If it's one thing I would never buy cheaply, it's loo paper. Cheap loo paper is awful!!
Although Tesco have said there is no need for panic buying as they are well stocked, I was unable to get lots of things on my online shop today and those things you can buy don't seem to have a limit on them. They should definitely put a limit on the number of toilet rolls you can buy, and other essentials.
Expensive loo roll is a complete waste of money in my opinion!
Government issue IZAL was free. No one in their right mind would buy it. Would they ?
I just love Bog roll impregnated with Aloe Vera and a quick sprinkle of Spritz cucumber and Aloe Vera cocktail. Heaven.

Remember Izal only too well. More slide than wipe, lol.
I remember decades ago when I used to visit Army establishments. If you used a squaddies toilet the loo rolls were like sandpaper. On the other hand the Officers Mess loos had rolls that were like mohair.
Regarding Izal, retro, I used to buy it, many moons ago, before this soft stuff appeared, and I was never certified!
I don't buy expensive or cheap. Just good quality, Diddly. Some brands are thin and nasty! I don't buy the silly quilted stuff though.

The ones left on the shelves are the expensive ones, but if people are desperate, I suppose they will buy them.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not advocating a return to Izal as I had enough of that in the 50s before my mother discovered the non-scratchy stuff!
Got plenty here if you run out Sparklykid , not with panic buying but just getting them regularly from Costco

Well you wouldn't of been certified many years ago. There wasn't any other choice apart from the Daily Sketch or Radio Times. :-)
If this lockdown nonsense becomes a regular fiasco I'm off to buy a bidet if there are any left. Always handy as a wine cooler in better times.
because of my toilet not having a great flush, I need to get Cushelle which flushes ok. I couldn't get my usual 24 rolls last night in Lidl so had to buy a Lidl product. Floralytes I think.
