I'm having a sad one Emmie, our friend Michael aged 52 is fighting for his life on a ventilator for the last 5 weeks, he has C-19 and is in a critical condition
i bought two small coffee tables, where one wouldn't fit together, and the other had over 40 nuts and bolts, plus glue to fix it, neither table survived. It would have cost me more to send them back, so the sellers said than to throw them out, which is what i did.
//what's been happening retro, is it the covid, lockdown? //
Well that as much as anything else I suppose ,which I can hack, but also personal family grief which I won't go into. Hey Ho.
i bought some desk lamps for the kitchen, they turned up today, they would fit nicely in a small dolls house, i am cross about that as they were expensive, so will try and get them sent back for a refund
Sorry to hear that Emmie, Bobbi, and anyone else having ongoing issues.
I've been trying to contact my solicitor all morning as more questions have been raised about my property despite the buyer signing the contract already. No one is answering and I'm reluctant to leave a message or send an email which can be used as evidence. All seems to pale into insignificance compared to what you guys are going through though.
It has felt like ne of those months, we ordered a new car at the beginning of September. It actually turned up a few weeks early, went to pick it up and they had sent a manual instead of an automatic. Problems in France with lockdown, they had changed to production line to another model, no new until next year. Loads of toing and froing but they think they have found us the same one in another colour but have to get the dealership to release it. All the paperwork had to be reversed.
In the midst of this my Mum died and I have had to try and cope with everything that entails. So many other little niggly things that would normally be water of a ducks back suddenly stop being mole hills and turn into mountains.
