I would like to buy my husband a cat like he had as a child, it was a DORSET BLUE but we cant find them, has anyone heard of this breed please?

I've never heard of a Dorset Blue, and it's not on this list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cat_breeds

I've never heard of one and can't find anything on the internet. Perhaps he remembers it being a dorset blue because of the breeder's name?

There are British Blue and Russian Blue cat breeds, those are the only ones with the colour blue in their names to my knowledge.

No such thing as a Norwegian Blue, it is just a Norwegian Forest Cat that happens to be blue in colour, the same goes for Burmese.
