Yes I saw it from my kitchen window, absolutely beautiful. DD came in the kitchen, saw it and said 'WOW that is amazing'

West London overlooking Heathrow. I took at least 6 photos of it, and mentioned it on Jemisa's thread. Beautiful.

I think it is because we have no clouds at all in the sky down here - its a cream and gold sky to the west but no reds bouncing off the clouds.

it was grey and overcast all day here DT, but around sunset this startling sun appeared below it on the horizon. Stunning!

I popped out just after 6pm to got to the local Co-op and saw it as well. It was pretty stunning. I wish I'd taken a photo now.
