If you're a wine lover there will be no point in entering because Mikey will have cleared every bottle off the shelves before you get there!
Thanks Susan , I'm in.x
What is the big thing about Lidl? I keep seeing it mentioned and now I’m curious
Thank you for that Wolf.

" If so this may (be) the competition for you ".

I have been in to our local store once and bought cat stuff - all rejected.
^^^ My cats like the pouched food from Lidl and they love the more expensive one of the two types of dried stuff. (They seem to prefer it moist cat food most of the time). Further, my epileptic cat seems not to have any fits as long as he gets Lidl's cat food, so I always buy it there (except when I'm buying the real luxury stuff for their Christmas presents, of course!)
Well, I would say that I do, wouldn't I !

Here is this weeks Superweekend ::

Xmas is my favourite time in Lidl. They sell these scrumptious gingerbread cakes/biscuits, and that Dundee cake is to die for !

I tried a Lidl recently.

It seemed like a grubby, disorganised Aldi.
“It seemed like a grubby, disorganised Aldi.”

Lol, that’s the funniest thing I’ve read all week.

You’re not a disgruntled ex employee by any chance?
I'd have entered the Comp whichever supermarket it was for.
I did once drive a huge lorry delivering to a Lidl distribution centre.

Now that was disorganised. Never again please.
I wouldn't want anything I need for Christmas - or for any other time of year - from Lidl.
It's a supermarket; what's to love ?

50 chances, what in the whole of the UK ? The EU ? The world ?
Or per store ?

Sounds like they are being extremely cheap looking for a countrywide feedback. Less than £4k for all that data ?

///enough for you to pick up every Lidl thing for Christmas///

Then goes on to say

///Win your £75 Christmas food shop///

followed by

///£75 worth of vouchers will be made up of 3 x £25 vouchers which must be used in single transactions///

£75. to cover Christmas for 3 adults, they've got to be joking.
I've only been in one once, didn't recognise a single brand. Once was enough.
Which items are considerably cheaper or better than their competitors?
Hopkirk

I think there is a good chance that I have been in more Lidl's and Aldi's than anyone on AB (I've also built a few) Lidl is not a scruffy Aldi ... yours must be the exeption rather than the rule, Hoppy.

It is not a store that I use or like.

But they give people access to foods and booze that is not available elsewhere.

If you are going to be shopping in Lidl then a £75 voucher would come in handy.
Agreed wolf, even if you don’t shop there or hate the place for a free £75, you’re bound to find something you like
