I'm Back

hi there - i'm back from my little holiday. the weather here is lovely all blue skies and sunshine.

for those of you who don't know i went to stay near some friends and we spent most of the time talking, most of it round the kitchen table.

why do people do that?

what has been going on while i've been away? what has been happened?

We do the same, when we go to our friends place in France it's what takes up a large portion of our time, sitting gossiping.... ( okay we consume the odd gallon of vino at the same time).... =0)

it's strange isn't it. lots of other rooms and we sat round the table and chatted with cups of tea and coffee during the day and then lots of wine during the evening.

that must have been a very quick conversation sibs. i'm not very interesting.

Lady-j I was worried it might become a habit

cremated my grandmother on wednesday

it was a day of farewell, and closure

have been feeling better and more relaxed since thursday

excel i am so sorry. such a loss for you. lots of ((( XXX ))). all just for you.

thank you minty. how's dad. when i went away he had shingles. hope he is better now.

Improving lady...still on painkillers but not nearly as bad...touch wood....going to start driving again in the next two weeks all being well.....taking him to diabetic consultant Wednesday to see if he can come off injections and back to tablets....waiting for scan to check on tumour....last one couldn't see it ..but had three weeks intensive radiotherapy to kill off any stray bits....wiped him out at the time but now very much better....Thanks for asking...

minty it sounds as though you have all been through it rather a lot. oh you poor things. from now on every thing is going to be better and on the up. i'll have a quick word with him upstairs if you like.
