The IOM isn't in the EU. It doesn't have an open doors policy - you can't work without a work permit, and it's not easy to get one. You can't get benefits unless you've lived there for 5 years....

HD docking bay problem

I've just got a Freecom HD docking bay and a 2tb hard disk to back up all my photos and music. The connection is USB, as I don't have a sata socket as yet. The drive is recognised, but not the disk....
