parking sensor...just a continuous beep...?

the rear parking sensor on my car just has a continuous beep as soon as i put the gearstick into reverse... someone said the sensors are dirty but ive given them a good wipe and it still doing it....

ford focus sill protection (scuff?) plates

Any one know where i can buy "covers" to protect the door sills? They are getting very marked. There are S/Steel plates on the top of the sill, but it's the curved edges that are being scuffed....
