Get a new car ?
Have you reversed over the dog ?
this has been happening to my car over the past few days.as far as i can see it's to do with the cold weather. When I first start and reverse the bleeper is continuous but later when the car warms up the bleeper reverts to normal.

hilarious jj...you should be on telly with 'jokes' like that...

cheers vulcan, yes its been freezing here ...snowing, hail etc - and ive only had the car a week so ill try again
Joko, clean as stated then fire WD40 within the sensor & try. As you can see, some can give out a bit of advise without being childish. Merry Xmas.
I had this issue in my car a while ago. I took the extreme measure of popping all the sensors out and giving them a good clean with warm water, and an old toothbrush. Worked a treat. I guess that just using an old toothbrush will work even without taking the sensors off the car

I also find with mine that when wet, the sensors seem to think that a raindrop is an obstacle to be avoided. This seems to have ben cleared when I cleaned them as stated above

i did wipe them down...they are pretty flat to the bumper and theres barely a gap around the edge, so there can be no build up of dirt.

i will try what you have said, but anyone got any other ideas?
thanks
