I keep getting adverts telling me the pc is infected and needs spyware tool but as fast as i get rid of one another pops up. how do i stop them

my yahoo mail keeps telling me theres a problem opening the mail. Tells me error code 1. can i contact yahoo to get it sorted, my other yahoo mail accounts are ok just this one but wa is the address...

My pc at home I have lost my tool bar ... Its been replaced by a different one .....no fav or history or back .....forward plus when i click on some desktop icons it comes up with a a bow...
