I am trying to gather information for media purposses on what students spend money on, on a regular basis can anyone with first hand experience let me know?

Beer, rent and the odd book

if mature students count - all the normal things a family has to buy and on top books, books and more books!!!!!

I have been a student once...

Regularly I have been spending money on:

Rent (fortnightly)
Food (weekly)
Drinks on Nights out (about fortnightly)
Travel Cards (weekly)
Books (about monthly)
Vet bills (once or twice a year)
Cinema (two to three times a month)

Rent, gas elec, water, food, tv Licence.Uni fees. Travel train, bus. Mobile phone. Books every term. Clothes, going out. Printing and phototcopying at uni, 3-5p a sheet.

Can't think of anything else at the moment.
