I've had a fever for about a week and now have earache, possibly turning into ear infection.

Are they any non-prescribed treatments that will help me out? I don't fancy making a docs appointment just for that.

I wouldn't entertain the use of ear drops for what you are describing.

I would take Ibuprofen 400gms ( 600mgms ;-) every 4 hours and that should settle your problem by Monday.

I find that a heatpad or similar helps me if I get earache.
