well for the next 2 weeks anyway.Just had 2 newspapers pushed through my letterbox, the Manchster Evening News and the Daily Mirror. I rushed to the door to tell the paper guy he had pushed them through the wrong letterbox but he said, No,you will be getting them free for the next 2 weeks and if you decide you want to carry on receiving them, you just let them know.Do you think enough people will do this so the publishers will get the money back it's costing them to do this?
Just so long as you are sure he didn't actually say, "No,you will be getting them free for the next 2 weeks and if you decide you don't want to carry on receiving them, you just let them know."
Don't forget that newspapers, especially local ones, are by and large paid for from the advertising revenue. Our local paper (weekly) is delivered free to 92% of homes, though it is on sale in shops for 70p.
