My last word(s) on the referendum.

The Evil Empire has prevailed, again
The Butchers apron is still OUR flag,
The bright light of hope and love has been dimmed.

And now we must return to the darkened Cave and
keep faith that our day will come.

For the sake of the poor, the destitute and the forgotten
we must not let the flame die.

We must believe that like the Phoenix we can rise again.

Good grief! Pathetic!
Maggie - someone has sprayed you with glum stuff

The Evil Empire has NOT prevailed - the Scots in a majority voted for the union along with resident Poles and Englishmen

If you had won, you would have been quite happy to point to the unionist minority and say - well you can always go south !

You havent been betrayed - more of your country men ( and other residents, ) voted to remain in a union than didnt

Oh dear you poor things.
You last words?
r
We all hoped there would be none of this, but it was too much to hope for.

If the vote had been for independence, those who had wanted to remain in the union would have been told, quite bluntly, that's democracy and you'll just have to put up with the result. Why won't the losing independents accept the opposite result? It's not just this poster, there have been similar attitudes from others in the media already. They're sore losers, they want another go, but if they ever won, they'd never agree to give their opponents another go.
Who is Scot MacKenzie - a wannabe folk singer?
the dull thud of teddy striking the pavement after his short flight from the pushchair.....
take no notice maggiebee..................LOL
I think you'll find your Phoenix is actually a dead Duck.
What Bert_h said.

My timelines on Twitter and Facebook at littered with 45 avatars, they harp on about revote and recounts because of cheating failing to recognise that 7 out of the 10 vote rigging instances took place in Dundee and Glasgow who came out in favour of a YES, recount them if you wish.... 43/57 sounds even better.

Unfortunately the more the yes's bleat on about it the less people are going to listen, it's done. The democratic vote that everyone wanted has happened the vote was NO, it's done, it's time to move on and fight to ensure the additional powers are transferred.
If this was supposed to garner sympathy, it failed big-time, lol.
It did, in fact I'm a bit affronted as I'm presumably a member of the Evil Empire :-(
Hi maggiebee, I thought your post would have elicited a bigger response from the bird-brained brigade here, but you never know, this might flush more of them out :-)

Good luck at Dens Park this afternoon.
was I imagining things when I was there this week, or does Dundee really have more than its fair share of shoe shops?
ah Dundee...................jute jam and journalism :)
