I want to save seed from annuals for next year. With all this rain can I still collect pods and dry them in the house. Will the damness make the seed go mouldy TAI

You can give it a go, but take the seeds out of the pods and make sure they are absolutely dried off. I made the mistake of drying some seeds on kitchen paper - the damp in the paper caused them to sprout.
put them in paper envelopes in airing cupboard or somewhere moisture free. I leave pods on to maximise seed growth
