Having lost just over 7 stone i am almost happy once again with the old body shape that is apart from around my tummy no matter what i do i seem to have been left with what i can only describe as a roll of fat and no matter what i do i can not shift it. As much as it goes against the grain i'm now starting to think of things like surgery to get rid of it. Any opinions would be great as i do not know any one who has had any surgery other than that which is necessary ie health.

Ok then....I recently had laser eye surgery and though not as cosmetic as some procedures or as dramatic I must say I was delighted with the outcome and if your feeling depressed with your body shape and are happy with the repercussions of surgery then I would say go for it.
Well, you've already done the hard work yourself by losing so much weight, so why feel bad about employing some surgical intervention to help with the difficult bit that is left over? I think the problem is when people have unrealistic expectations about 'plastic' surgery, thinking the effect will be greater than it actually turns out to be and believing that the surgery will transform their life for the better and be the end of all their problems. You certainly don't appear to be in that category. If you're embarrassed to tell your friends and family or worried about what they might think, then don't tell them! It's not the kind of surgery that would be obvious after all.
I lost 8st-6lb in just over a year. Amazing how long it takes to get a divorce.
