Though the murder of a young girl is tragic, this is nothing like the Mark Bridger / Stuart Hazell type murderer. They were much older men who preyed on very young girls.
The main suspect in the Georgia Williams case was a young man of a similar age to the victim, and who appeared to love her, but it was unrequited. Rather than perverted lust, the motive seems to be jealousy or fustrated anger. Not excusing the dreadful thing he has done, but does not merit being boiled alive or the rope.

Not excusing the dreadful thing he has done, but does not merit being boiled alive or the rope.
Gromit, I would like to think that the population of this country is Civilised, but it appears not, any person has the right to go wherever she / he wants do what they want, when they want at any given time that they choose to do it without some sane plank taking their lives away, children are not safe / women are not safe just because some knob thinks he / she can do a Murder without getting the severest of punishment, this person will have ore inside that you will ever have Excluding his freedom, this poor girl has lost her life, a possibility of children, to give her parents Grandchildren, but that has been take from her and her family, this piece of sht will be released in 15years & possibly start a family, can you tell me that is right? I am all for the removal of garbage like this person, in my opinion he has destroyed a family, destroyed a town, destroyed the the term "TRUST" within the community, Granted in the past things were not 10% correct with the evidence, now with DNA the evidence is 100% correct, this evidence should be used to determine the return of Capital Punishment, I will more than likely get called for my views on this, as I usually do, these are my thoughts & I think it EVERY DAY WHEN I SEE A CHILD MURDERED, but a dirty disgusting piece of sht that should not be on the face of the Earth, just to add, have you noticed of the killings? it is never someone in powers Son / Daughter! I wonder if the crimes committed again people in high places would carry on they way they do, like they are doing for the ordinary persons in the street? In my past employment I have supported Murders / Pedos / Rapist, the difference, they had sever mental problems, has this piece of garbage?

It depends what you think hanging is for. If you think it's an eye for an eye, so a death for a death, that's nice Old Testament reasoning and every murderer should,must,be hanged.
Why then, should you distinguish between an obsessively controlling or jealous man who murders his wife or someone whom he regards as his, and some man who murders a little girl as result of some sexual perversion? How is that distinguished from any other murder, and they are many and various (although most fit one of a few patterns) ?
Cynical counsel (I admit I have been one such), talk of law by Sun headline; that laws are promoted simply because a tabloid has made a big fuss and politicians play to that; but it equally applies and applied to sentences and, particularly, the death penalty. If your murder made the headlines, the Home Secretary, a politician with an eye for headlines and popularity as reflected in the press, never recommended reprieve. An identical murder which didn't, perhaps because it was in the middle of some big city and passed the headlines by as not being particularly salacious or newsworthy, resulted in a reprieve.
