Can i achieve a top healthy balanced diet from fruit and nuts or do i need something more? e.g. meat, veg, milk, bread etc.

I think you might need to supplement calcium and vitimin B12 if you are not eating diary products and I would guess your iron and vitimin A levels might be rather low without vegetables - although fruit will contain some. Most vegans I know look pretty healthy and I think the body can adapt to lower calcium and B12 levels but they do eat tend to eat vegetables and pulses in their diet. My guess is you would struggle to stay healthy without the vegetables.
Wouldn't want to use the bathroom after you!! :-)

add the word "cadburys" and you have the perfect diet!!
As a footnote, I used to meet a fruitarian (as she called herself) regularly in Safeways. Week by week she became more and more bent - then she disappeared, and I haven't seen her since........

more and more bent? - and your theory is what Cetti, - she turned into a banana and disappeared in the fruit section? sounds nuts, but what isn't these days. :-)
