Dear God.

As much as I am a self declared hand wringing leftie, this is a case for enforced sterilisation if every I heard one.
no not really...just look at some of the low life scum that are around
2sp_ I agree, there is hope for you yet, you may yet be cured of your hand wringing leftieism.

some people are too thick to warrant existence.....i believe this is fairly good evidence!!!
More failed medical experiments!
The only thing I will say is that it is clear that the parents did not intend harm to their child, probably the contrary, they are simply guilty of incredible stupidity on a most monumental scale, which is somewhat different from beating a baby to death I hope you will agree?
So they are brain dead then, hope they are not allowed to have any more. What is the world coming to.
I agree NOX, they didn't beat the child and thought they were doing good for the baby in their own weird way.

But the end result is still the same, the child still died because of the actions of the parents.
i was just thinking the same thing Nox, that actually these two utter idiots probably did this because they thought it would just numb the gums and help the baby - they did not try to kill the baby, they were likely trying to help it out of pain

they have probably heard of people dipping dummies in whiskey, and even cocaine in the past, and in their drugged up drug addled logic it seemed like a good idea at the time.
if theyd had half a brain cell and been straight they would not have done this im sure...

I wonder if they did it often and it actually worked, but then on one occasion used too much, or too strong a cut or something ...?
or was it a one off OD?

they are guilty of extreme ignorance, thoughtlessness, irresponsibility and stupidity, not murder.

thats not to say i dont think they should be punished - i absolutely do think they should ... just not for murder.
