For those with kids - at what ungodly hour do you expect to be woken up?
And for those with none/or grown up kids - will you be having a lie in or are you still big kids at heart and will be up early to see what Santa has brought you?
No wirries ala, I have dozens recorded on the digi box - Harry sits quietly watching each one, and when it stops, he elbows Gagad, with whom he is sharing a chair, and who is now snoring, Gagad wakes up, puts the next one on, and the cycle is repeated until Nannie rises with the first of many instructions for the day.
The kids don't get up a silly o'clock anymore, thankfully, I'll still have to get up about 7am though as I've got loads to do. I'll have a big lay in Boxing Day, f I'm let.
andy, that sounds blissful xx
Mine are now at the age where they go to their pals or have pals in. Too old for parents and have to drag them to family gatherings but they have a whale of a time when they get there.
Last year we were woken at 3.30am and then 4.30am and at 5.30am and it was only at this point that the message got through that we were NOT getting up at stupid o clock. This year it is mum's turn, so it'll be a very civilised 9-10am for us :)
