Keyplus, and there was me thinking I was having such a happy life, so according to you it appears in fact im not happy at all!!

Oh dear Keyplus, I really think you will need to try much harder. :-)
That the world and the universe was created in just 7 days. I would think it would take longer than that even by God. Maybe it was 7 days for God by millions of years for us.
the widows mite, noone has ever accepted that when i've put my last few pence in their charity box it's really all i have, so why was she believed?
Question Author
Keyplus, another thought. Belief in a God is one thing - no one can prove of disprove the existence of such an entity - but it's something entirely different to believe in things that are demonstrably false - as you do.
Question Author
*'or' disprove.
Its not "another thought", this is confused mental attitud. Usually sign of a person who is not satisfied with what they do or believe. Sometimes known with different notions but I will not go into details. After all I do not want to confuse someone who already is confused.
Question Author
Ah, Keyplus the psychologist!! Rather than persisting in attacking the messenger, why not try addressing the issue?
Just as a matter of interest Naomi - how are you distinguishing something that has been disproved from something that is demonstrably false?
Question Author
Mmm ... in this instance I don't think I am really, Jake.
simple answer is no for me, as if i didnt believe it why would i follow it? however i believe things can be interpreted in different ways and therefore discussed.
How many atheists will it take to change your mind, Lightbulb?
depends on how much knowledge they have and if they have a clue what there talking about. But im no stranger to atheism and know how they'll respond and some of the weird "answers" theyll give and also the questions they pose to believers.

//however i believe things can be interpreted in different ways //

Always the most convenient. ;o)
Then I saw his face, now I'm a believer, not a trace of doubt in my mind. May sound rather flippant but that's how I feel.
Question Author
Whose face - and where did you see it?
I see God in many people - ordinary people I meet every day, but their goodness shines out.
Question Author
Why attribute it to God? Maybe they're just nice people.
Keyplus90, I would be grateful if you could explain to me something that has worried me for a while now.
If at one time Muhammad was deceived by Satan into introducing the 'Satanic Verses' into Quran. Then how can it be CERTAIN that this was the only time it happened ? Might it not be that Satan was/is actually more powerful than he has been given credit for and some , possibly many, of the Quran's verses are in fact Satanic ?
I know that the normal responce to such a question is the declare a fatwa on the questioner but I am prepared to take that risk, after all Salman Rushdie is still alive ( I think)
No reply yet Keyplus ? have I got you stumped or are you just organising the fatwa ?
