Could he be a help or a hindrance at the next election if he takes a prominent part in Labour? Would it change your voting position?

arti....he led the Labour Party
I thought that was the bankers, tony, not that I have any love for mr blair
I sometimes think that I may have inadvertently hibernated during some of Tony Blair's premiership because, apart from Iraq, what did he do to make people dislike him so much?

The answer to that is simple; just watch a photo of him ( and/or) his wife smirking, then you'll get the picture.
So it was sibton, while he let it happen.
He would be a hindrance I think.

He carries too much political baggage. A pervasive sense amongst the electorate that the early promise of the Blair government was eroded far too quickly by the taint of cronyism.Big incursions into civil liberties. Poor oversight and negotiation of PFIs. A raft of "consultants" brought into the civil service /government at huge cost. More than anything else, the war in Iraq, and the perception that Blair was little more than Bush's poodle.

I think he would cost labour a lot if they were to give him a prominent role.
Would not change my position at all. Have never voted Labour and never will.
I would never vote for any party that had him organising anything.
I expect he is still a member of the party but I doubt he personally paid his subscription .
He wants to come back into politics - some would have him, but I'd vote for the Queen of Sheba before I voted for a party which would bring TB back into the cabinet.
He's aiming for higher things he thinks he's God.
then make him Archbish of Canterbury - he can't be any worse than the current incumbent.

Who put Rowan Williams there - oops, Tony Blair. Better re-think that one.
I noticed his Rowanship beaming behind EIIR's head at the Olympic opening ceremony....
I noticed him there too, can't abide the man
Doesn't he buqqer off shortly. Don't know when the announcement for his replacement is. Can't come a moment too soon.
He'd be a help...to the Tories!
Too right Moonrocker, lets start a campaign to bring back Tony & Bottler
I don't like militant Labourites, but I believe that grassroots Labour principles are based on good humanity and compassion and looking after one's fellow human beings. Tories, however, appear to me to be, largely, people who think that unless you are acute in mind and body and/or rich, you don't deserve a shot in life and should be content to just survive. There seems to be two types of Tory; those who have venom against the above or those who are naively misguided in their thinking eg Anne Widdecombe, who I believe possesses not a malicious bone in her body, but has much to learn about the real world.
And where would you place TB on your political map?
way off the page, sheena - dangerous man.
Resigned from the L.P over Iraq so would never vote Blair.
