Eccles, I thought you might be! :o} I'm going to do a fillet steak with peppers courgette and new potatoes, boiled, the split in half and chucked on the barbie.
on either, slap some olive oil over your grill before you heat it up; that helps make the cleaning easier at the end.....I don't mind either - miss my large (gas) barbie in the States when it's like this weather-wise
bring on the bbq spare ribs......as there is some kitchen prep of those, we even had them in winter, zipping outside the kitchen door to finish them off on the BBQ....mad at times. My idea of kitchen heaven would be to have an indoor bbq (charcoal) for grilling - plus the fan of course. Fish can also be heavenly done this way.
