The cleaner has just finished her 2 hour stint. In that time she has vac'd right through, changed the bedding, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, dusted and polished, washed the windows, and done the ironing...............so just get on with it wimp!

get hoover out of cupboard and put in hallway, it will look mas though you have vacuumed even if you havent.
Wipe and lay table for dinner.
Squirt air freshner everywhere and slug of bleach down loo's
Have washing machine or dishwasher running.
Casually leave tin of polish and duster on table : )

I'm really lucky. All I have to do is say to my husband, 'Do you think it needs hoovering in here? and he does it. It works everytime, whatever the question.

Or, I make a big fuss getting the hoover out, you know, drop the tubes, bang the plug in, empty the dust thingies, and he say's 'Leave that, I'll do it.'

Mind you. I work part time and he doesn't. So, fair's fair.
