What a start to the day - curled up on the sofa, clutching a bowl, within sprinting distance of the littlest room..........
The forecast doesn't look good in this corner of Wales, but at least as we are on higher ground we don't have the risk of flooding - not that I'm planning to go anywhere!
Hope you all have a better start to the day :)
morning Albs....still no legionnaires here....it is on the wane now I think....it will be good to see the torch in rain or shine.....my sis is here from Singapore at the moment too, the olympics were announced for London in Singapore and she was there then..so it is the full circle for her to see the torch now in the wee village were she was brought up !
Murray, that's brilliant. Great to have your sis back. Does she live there?
I heard on the news yesterday that they think the Legionnaires has peaked and 2 firms have been told to improve their cleaning systems.
alba..no she has lived in Singapore for about 9 years now because of her husband's work ! but comes over every year for about a month to see mum and dad et al !
Murray - a torch tip - once you decide where to stand for the Olympic torch, wonder a few yards ahead until you find the next torch bearer. Stand fairly close by if you can and you'll be able to see them hand over to each other as well as see them running with it. Have a great day.
good morning everyone. have not read previous posts yet but alba just after i posted about the blue skies etc, yesterday the heavens opened and stayed like it until mid-afternoon. just like turning the tap on full.
this is my last post for a while as lots to do today. funeral later this morning and then taking friend to hospital to visit his wife as they don't have a car and difficult journey on buses. must get ready to leave early tomorrow. given our present weather i'm not sure about this.
