Barack Obama?
The idea here on Answerbank is that you ask a question and we try to answer it .
Judiciary law & precedent, do both look like set questions, with the words “please discuss” often after them which you would be expected to be able to answer yourself.
If this is wrong please elucidate.
"The idea here on Answerbank is that you ask a question and we try to answer it." - or perhaps Gretta's just setting a precedent?
I think alos people havent tried to answer.
There are whole chapters on this in admin law or constitutional law text books

You have to decide which courts are courts of record and therefore can set precedent - The GMC for example is a court but is not bound by its own previous cases but IS bound by high court cases affecting it

Then you have hierarchy of courts that can modify lower courts

You should mention Denning in the COurt of Appeal tried to over rule a House of Lords case

and that finally the House of Lords oops showing my age - Supreme Court can over rule itself but does so rarely

another long essay I am afraid
