Curb, not kerb.

Judges in lower courts have to follow the precedents set by judges in higher court.

But really this an in depth subject hat needs you to read the set text and research cases.

thank you ethel, will do. Your spelling needs to be checked to...
Don't be cheeky. Ethel did not make any spelling mistakes, she missed out (is) after the word this, and the initial (t) from the word that. Which would have been because she was in a hurry to answer your question. Ethel is a very busy lady, and in great demand. Just be thankful that there are people like her around to help you with your studies. And by the way, in your reply to Ethel, you also spelled (too) incorrectly.

I do appoligise Ethel. But i would rather have had the reprimand from yourself; and not big brother , who i think is rather rude by his intervention. i dissmiss myself from this forum forthwith....
byeeee!!!!
Deri. I'm not big brother, more like a big sister, who was concerned that if you are studying, particularly in law, you would need to be a bit more careful with your checking of written work. I hope you haven't gone off in a huff, as there are always people on AB who are only too pleased and willing to assist. So good luck with whatever it is you are doing. Best wishes. Schutz.

Dear Shultz

Sorry; I did go off in a huff; and now i see your point; If you will except my appoligy it's there. I am going to have a go at as law, so i think ive got a lot to learn from you all, especially patience and good manners....

Deri, I did a law degree and know the written word is extremely important in that field. You really do need to exercise great care with your spelling and grammar.

Your last post should read, '..accept my apology'.

I hope you find your studies as fascinating as I did.
Dear Deri, of course your apology is accepted. Pleased to see you came back, and hope we see you again on AB. So glad you picked up on the intended encouragement from myself and Ethel. If you come across a word you are not familiar with, and are not sure enough of the spelling, or sense of it, to find it in a dictionary, please post it on here, as there is usually someone around to help you, before you need to write it into your work. You could always put as your question heading "Deri asking", so that we would know it's you. Good Luck. Schutz.
