OH ordered a bulk delivery of wine which was delivered about 5.00 p.m.
8.00 p.m. we had a phone call,"We wish to apologise regarding your Tesco order that we failed to deliver as arranged today, we will now deliver it tomorrow" This was an automated call with no-one to speak to. Will he get another delivery tomorrow?

If they charge you just the once, then why worry ;-)
Here's hoping for you!
I once got a whole Tesco delivery for free, must have been about £130 worth. I rang to tell them and the lad in the call centre told me to just keep quiet about it!!
if you get a double order and pay for one, will/would you inform tesco ?
The driver probably did not log that he had delivered. He may do it later. So no I think not.
Every little helps!
You should decline the delivery or pay for it otherwise you are technically guilty of appropriating the property of another with the intention of permanently depriving them of it, i.e. theft.

I would inform them, I'd be too scared of any repercussions if I didn't.
they'll probably log it later!.......if you get the delivery again, then I would front up! you've got what you paid for!.....

The only problem we have is that we are going out tomorrow for about 5 hours so will not be here for any delivery. That was why we arranged for it today. They do have a record of where to leave any delivery if we are not in.
A packet of biscuits, maybe, but a bulk delivery of wine might be a bit too cheeky.
hi caron. when you say " bulk " how many bottles ?
what no bacardi?

Hi Anne he ordered 4 cases of wine with 50% off. Got to take advantage of these offers when you can.
a bargain !!!!!!!
I once ordered wine from a wine club which advertises now on TV. The saga was very confused concerning wrong addresses etc., but I finished up with 3 cases. When I contacted them I was told to "Keep quiet, it happens and it's far harder to sort it out than to leave it there"
but let them make the decision... I've gained stuff that way in the past too
Why not? It will be like a drop in the ocean to them.
Tescos can afford it.

If it arrives, let them figure it out.
