Lots of them, when comdeians were comedians.

Memories are being stirred with the mention of Stanley and Victor. Brilliant.
Most of Morcambe and Wise and The 2 Ronnies.

When I was about 10 or 11 I was allowed to stay up late-ish at New Year. Billy Connolly was on, and his punchline about a condom earned me a slap from my aunt :D

I didn't realise janzmanhad already put a similar thread on.
Spacecadet I love that sketch.
You can never get too much of a good thing. Classics should be shown on TV and a darned sight more often. :)

Absolutely agree albaqwerty. Would love to see the Victor Borge sketches again and also Dave Allen.
Some comedians like the two Ronnies and M&W we get to see sometimes, but others just seem to be forgotten by the TV bigwigs.
This is pure genius.

According to the young nippers who run the TV stations these days, us oldies nedd to get 'with it'. I know Billy Connolly used bad language but I did think he was funny in his early years before it all became foul-mouthed.

One of my favourites is M&W with Andrew Preview and the correct notes were being played but not necessarily in the right order. Sheer comedy gold.
Music and comedy...... remember this.

One of my favs is straight faced New York comedian Jackie Mason, I love the one where he says '' I was walking thru Central Park & a young woman said to me would you like to go to bed with me for $200 & I answered well I'm not tired but I could use the money''.

W Ron.
I used to love Victor Borge, Rainer Hirsch is really funny too.
This always made me laugh, still does now.

Absolutely loved Les Dawson - especially when he played the piano off key.

Dave Allen used to finish his shows saying "May Your God Go With You".
Quite a nice thought at this time of year.
