I could cry at the minute.

Things are going wrong all over the place and I can see myself slipping back into depression :-(

oh sorry to hear this Yellownana,
perhaps talking about it will unburden you?
I'm sorry to hear that.

If you'd like to elaborate, there is always plenty of support ready on here for you.
Oh dear - what's up? We don't want that to happen...
Why - what's wrong?

A few things.

I have to go to court re rent arrears when i only misssed one payment. So scared they're gona evict us. Even though the arrears will be cleared before court :-( So unfair really.

Have a baby due and still trying to do the house up, but no money to do it all. My partner and me work all the hours under the sun, but as my partners hours have dropped 3 months ago, we're shorter than we used to be.

I despise my job. Im just one big fat moan at the minute :-(
right'heres a box of tissues, cuppa tea,wee cream bun,and whenever your ready to let go,were here for you.
Aw - not a happy situation. Surely they can't evict you with a baby arriving at any minute?
I'll add some scented candles and a neck massage plus a shoulder to lean on (like other abers) - does that help?
You're just one big fat moan at the moment cos your preggers - hormones and everything. If you are only one payment in arrears, I'm sure they won't evict you, especially in your condition. May not have a lot of money at the minute, but you have LOVE and soon you will have a beautiful baby. Can family not help out at all?
I can't see the court being bothered when the arrears have gone YN, try not to worry pet, think of that baby of yours :-)
Right let's look at the positive here
You most probably won't get evicted if you make the difference before you go to court
You have a beautiful baby due who won't know or care what the house looks like for a couple of years at least
Your partners hours have dropped - well he has now got more time to help out when baby comes and he can get on with helping round the house
I can't see the courts evicting you over one payment and you being pregnant. I reckon its your hormones working overtime. And don't worry too much about doing your house up at the moment, you have more important things to look forward to. Nothing is lovlier than having a new baby,he/she will be so dependant on you, so chin up, deep breath, count to ten.......and SMILE. Good luck :-)
Yellownana, don`t get depressed, get mad! Think of all sorts of obscenities and say them to yourself until you laugh at your own outrageousness. Many years ago when I was a teenager and things were genuinely, irredeemably awful, a lady said "Have faith. It will end. It will get better, so you endure" I have subsequently found that good advice; so, you are miserable now. It won`t last and the sun will shine for you again. With much love.
If push comes to shove and you can't make the full payment before court, make as much a a payment as you can. On court date offer to pay any arrears outstanding by adding it to your current rent. Possibly at an extra £10 per month.

Also make sure you are getting as much entitlement as you are eligible for. xx
You know yourself that you can prevent this depression taking hold if you act now - once you find yourself at the blackest point the journey back to the daylight will be so much harder. Your hormones are making this seem a enormous problem but it is just a blip.

If the courts evict you then your local authority will try and find you somewhere to stay.

BUT

It is pretty unlikely that you will be made homeless over only one missed/late payment of rent.

Your best starting points are your GP and the CAB.
has it all been sorted yellownana - no response for a while
