Must fog lights work to pass the MOT?

If they are fitted as standard equipment on the vehicle, then yes i believe they must work.
All lights must work.

Ok thanks, I just had an idea that as fog lights are not mandatory they could be not working.
As far as I am aware front foglights are not "Obligatory Lights" therefore do not form part of the MOT unlike the rear one which does.

well I just called a garage and front fogs are not part of the MOT, it seems. Thanks all
Yes they are.
Sorry RIGeezer, are you talking about the rear fog light or what is termed Front fog light, the front are not required, the rear are.
