For the past couple of months I've been dead excited about Valentine's day because for the first time I'm years I actually have a boyfriend. But over the past couple of days it's sunk in that I'm not actually going to see my boyfriend until Friday night and now I'm all bitter and miserable.

Stop worrying about Valentines Day. If you haven't been with this bloke for very long he may feel that he is not ready to make a serious statement to you yet. Don't make a fuss, just be casual there are plenty more 14th Febs and also there are another 364 days in the year. Or as in this year another 365. You can always propose on the 29th Feb but I wouldn't recommend it yet. Good Luck.
